Get to know me

My name in Andrew Pelz, I am the owner of Pelz HandyWorks.  I was born and raised in Champaign, graduated from Central, then Parkland and NIU.  After many years doing IT work for a Fortune 500 company, I had to get out, there was no more reward in it for me personally.  I felt the need to get my hands off my keyboard and onto some power tools, where I spend most of my hobby time.  I also enjoy playing and refereeing Soccer.

I take pride in clear communication, showing up on time, treating a customers home like my own, jobsite cleanup, and doing things right.

Over my past 20+ years of home ownership I have done most of the work myself.  Here is handful of tasks I have completed in my own homes:

• Window/Door replacement

• Painting

• Kitchen Sink/Faucet replacement, Garbage Disposal

• Dishwasher replacement

• Washer/Dryer repair/replacement

• Deck build

• Fireplace door and Hearth replacement

• Paver Patio install

• Finish Basement (wall framing, paneling, floor leveling, floor install, add outlets)

• Light fixture updates

• Custom furniture building

• Fire Pit
